Description
BI Staffing has a full time position with our direct client for a Hyperion Planning Lead Consultant
Our client is a leader in providing Business Intelligence and Performance Management solutions. They are seeking a financial systems consultant with proven experience in implementing Hyperion Planning software. The Hyperion Planning consultant will work closely in a team environment with both their team and client technical professionals to implement financial software systems.
The consultant will also participate in pre-sales support as well as product evaluation and assessment projects to identify the most appropriate solution for our clients. The ideal candidate will be interested in expanding his or her technical skills with multiple performance management products.
Job Duties and Responsibilites:
• Work closely with client management and users to define requirements and project scope
• Perform the analysis necessary to design and architect solutions that meet client requirements
• Install, develop and implement Hyperion Planning based solutions based on identified client’s requirements
• Provide mentoring and training services
• Provide phone and/or email support on an as required basis
• Play a lead role as needed by performing project related tasks such as: scheduling, weekly and monthly status reporting, researching product and account issues, and monitoring project team progress and performance.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree
• 3 years minimum Implementation experience with Hyperion Planning.
• Experience with project management and/or software package implementation process
• Strong (5 years+) financial experience including planning ,budgeting and forecasting , consolidation and closing
• Reporting and Analysis experience
• Excellent verbal and written Communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills in working with clients and co-workers
• Strong client management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with additional Hyperion or other vendor financial applications a plus.
• Essbase development (calc scripts) experience a strong plus.
• Experience with other Hyperion or vendor reporting tools is a plus
• Compliance experience such as Sarbanes Oxley is a plus
• Experience with HAL and other ETL process
• Experience as a consultant working with multiple clients
• Master degree preferred
